◎简　　介　

　　主人公比尔在岳父的银行工作，名头不小，却没有多少实权，每天一成不变的生活让他厌倦不已。正面临中年危机的他，不仅为自己日益臃肿的身材和秃顶而烦恼，同时妻子跟当地的新闻主播经常眉来眼去，也让其备受困扰。直到有一天，他遇到了一个少年“顾问”，后者给比尔提了很多大胆而有效的建议，比尔借此重新振作，生活开始走上正轨……

·在影片中扮演比尔岳父的演员叫约翰·雅各布（John Jacobi）。他是MICDS中学的校长。影片里那些发生在美术学院里镜头大多在这里完成。
